I've met the VP, if that counts.  He's got beady little eyes, very shifty.

General Petraeus, the new commander in Iraq, as confirmed by the Senate, was my division commander over there 4 years ago.  I met him once at Fort Campbell.

But the other day, I flew Andie McDowell from Asheville, NC to Charlotte.  I think she was going to Europe.  I don't really follow her, but I've seen some of her movies, and I can say she looks much better in person.

1.  Never "split the pole".

2.  In the house, the head of the bed should be on the northern wall.  If that is not possible, east and west are acceptable.  Under no circumstances will the head of the bed be on the southern wall.

3.  Knock on wood.  Enough said.

Yes I have.  I learned that I'm a city councilman somewhere in Colorado...Colorado Springs, to be precise.

Seriously tho, when I was in the Army, deployed to Iraq, I was the unit Public Affairs Officer.  Part of that job required me to escort our embedded reporter and any other reporters that came out to see our unit in action.  Well, one day they needed a pilot to interview, and they started asking me which one of our pilots would be best.  I started giving them some names when one of them said, "Hey, you're a pilot too, aren't you?"  I replied that I was, and they started to ask me some questions.  Well, I ended up being quoted, the results of which can be found here.

That's about the best one.  The rest are junk.
